We are a technology intermediary — we do not buy gold ourselves, nor do we disburse loans. Our role is to capture your interest, verify that it is genuine, and share your details with one or more partners best suited to your location and requirement.

2. What Information We Collect

We collect two types of information: what you give us directly, and what gets recorded automatically when you use our platform.

Information you provide

When you fill out a lead form on our website or app — whether for selling gold or applying for a gold loan — you share the following:

• Your name
• Email Address
• Mobile number
• City and/or PIN code

In case of Gold Loan application we ask for the following additional details:

• Date of birth
• PAN Card
• Gender
• Voluntary declaration of income

We do not ask for Aadhaar numbers, bank account details, or photographs at the lead stage. If any partner later requests such documents, that exchange happens directly with them and is governed by their own privacy policy.

Information collected automatically

Our website and app automatically receive certain technical data when you visit:

• IP address and approximate location derived from it
• Browser type, device type, and operating system
• Pages visited, time spent, and links clicked
• Referring URL (which page or ad brought you here)

3. Why We Collect This Information

• To match you with the right partner. Your name, number, city, and requirement go to one or more verified gold buyers or gold loan providers who operate in your area. This is the core of what GoGlitter does — without sharing this, the service cannot work.
• To contact you for confirmation. Before passing your lead to a partner, we may call or message you to confirm that the inquiry is genuine and that you still want to be contacted.
• To improve the platform. Aggregated, non-identifiable usage data helps us understand how people use GoGlitter and where we can do better.

We do not use your information for unrelated marketing, we do not build advertising profiles from your data, and we do not sell your information to anyone outside the purposes above.

4. Who We Share Your Information With

Your information is shared with:

• GoGlitter’s verified partner network — these are gold buying companies and NBFC/bank partners who offer gold loans. They receive your lead so they can call you, visit you, or send you an offer. Each partner is bound by their own privacy policy once they receive your data.
• Technology service providers — companies that help us run the platform, such as cloud hosting, SMS/calling services, and own digital advertising tools. These providers only process your data on our instructions and cannot use it for their own purposes.
• Law enforcement or regulators — if required by law, court order, or a legitimate government request.

We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party whose purpose is unrelated to facilitating your gold transaction or loan.

When your lead is shared with a partner, that partner’s handling of your data is subject to their own privacy policy. We recommend reading it before you proceed with them.

You may also ask us not to share your lead with further partners by contacting us before a match is made. Once a partner has already received your details, you will need to contact them directly to opt out.

9. Children

Our service is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted a form through our platform, please contact us and we will delete the record.

10. Links to Third-Party Websites

Our website may contain links to partner websites or informational pages outside GoGlitter. Once you leave our platform, this privacy policy no longer applies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites and encourage you to read their policies before sharing any personal information with them.
